I have recently rebuilt my system with a V1.3 KT7A which was returned after warranty repair.
I am using Win XP and also running an overclocked XP1600+ at XP2000+ speeds.
Essentially, whenever the PC is initially booted (from cold) - I always get the same Beeeep-beep-beep code.
I am familiar with this beep code normally indicating the graphics card or suchlike.
The strange thing is - it will only give this error code on the 1st and only on the 1st attempt to boot from cold.
If I have been using the PC and restart - it works flawlessly.
If I press start after resetting - it will always boot on the 2nd attempt - without any error codes.
Once the system has booted then there are no problems at all.
This error code also appears when using my Duron 1ghz and also with the XP1600+ at stock speeds.
The only thing that I can think of is that perhaps having not installed the Via 4-in-1's (XP doesn't require) that might be causing some sort of problem?
However - that is shot down because it always boots fine on the 2nd attempt.
Any ideas?
