Hello,
I have:
KT7A motherboard
Athlon 1GHz (133mhz version)
Kingston 133MHz RAM
300W PSU
Leadtek TNT2 16MB
I am able to boot into the BIOS with the default settings, but when I change the settings for the CPU, or any other settings, and "save and exit" I just get a blank screen. I then have to reset the CMOS and then I can boot again. If I "press f1 to continue" when it says the cpu is unworkable, I can almost get into windows, I see the hourglass at my previous 1152x864 resolution, but then it freezes. I am also able to go to the command prompt and play for example Doom in VGA. However, when I installed my old PCI (Riva 128) graphics card, everything works fine! Is the problem;
a) AGP settings in the BIOS (it seems like I have tried everything, but I am not sure)
b) a broken tnt2 card (then how can it display anything at all, like the bios and doom?)
c) a faulty motherboard (with only agp broken)
d) something else
Please help me, I am at a total loss!
