KT7 vs. KT7E - What is the real difference?

It appears that my current KT7 MOBO is in need of repair, and since I don't want to be without my system for upwards of a month, I am considering purchasing a KT7E to take it's place.

As someone who is not an overclocker, and just runs my system straight up standard, will I be missing anything?

I do play some games, mainly sports, and my step-son plays Half Life all the time. Other than that, we use it pretty much for internet, email and basic home office type stuff.

What is the difference between the boards?

Thanks.

I've only seen the KT7E to be more overclockable than the KT7. I may be wrong, but I think that is really the only difference. There may be a slight increase in performance, but I haven't seen any benchmarks that look for this.

The difference is that the KT7E has the 686B south bridge which supports ATA/100. The KT7 has the 686A south bridge which does not support ATA/100. The only other difference is the KT7E has a blue PPCB.

The KT7E is made on a .18u process instead of .35, it has support for PowerNow!, and it allows the same bus speeds as the KT7A.

Yeah, buy the KT7A or KT7E. I personally own the former, but if I had the chance, I would pick neither.
I would buy Iwill KK266-R.

The kt7e is cheaper and supposedly better than either one. It can clock the fsb like the kt7a.
I think that the kt7e is the best choice out of the three
