I've posted many messages various french forums and US newsgroups but nobody seems to have a solution for my USB problem...
I have an Agfa1212U scanner and it doesn't seem to work on my KT7. There is
no problem with the scanner because it works with other PCs... I've tested all 4 USB ports, installed all newest Via drivers (4in1, USB driver Filter), the new KT7 bios, Ms Win98se patch concerning USB, and scanwise v1.4 but the problem is still there : the scanner begins to preview the document then stops for a reason i don't understand...Sometimes, scanwise even crash during the launch of the application... I've also reinstall Win98se but the problem remains.
People recommend me to avoid putting any cards in PCI slots 4 and 6, what I did... I've moved my NIC in Slot 5 and the USB IRQ is not shared anymore, unfortunatly it doesn't solve the problem....
I've read about the same problem with USB Printer, so I decided to install my Epson 740 printer with USB connection instead of the parallel cable I usually use to test it... The result is that my printer driver crash when I want to print...
Does anyone can help me with this mysterious USB problem ???
Thanks.
