Hiya, i just upgraded my system to an Athlon 800 with a KT7-RAID motherboard, when i install windows and reboot after installing drivers, it bluescreens when it clicks to change the resolution when entering windows. It gives me a Fatal memory address error.
I previously had a KA7-100 and had the same problem, but managed to fix it using the TY bios, however i have been unable to find bios updates for the KT7 ad i am already using the UL bios. PLEASE Help anyone who can fix it i will send a cash reward to, this is really annoying and i would REALLY appreciate help.
System:-
Abit KT7-RAID mobo
128 MB PC100 ram
Creative 32meg GeForce 2 GTS - Detenator 2/3 drivers, both behave same
Fujitsu UDMA 66 20.4 Gig HD
Athlon Thunderbird 800 Socket A - Coolermaster fan

Make sure you install the Beta Hotpoint controller driver at Abit's FTP sight ver 103.
I to had the same probem, but after installing the latest Beta 103 driver it went away.
Also I am using the VIA 425a 4-1 drivers. I forgot where I got them, will try to find out.
After installing the VIA drivers, it didn't install the VGart driver. To do this right click on the VGart inf file and click install. This will bring up a box to where the driver is, point to the directory you have them in and click OK. After doing this my Video tripled in benchmark scores.

ATA-66 can be enabled by an utlity from the manufacturer. For my WD, I can download from their website.
rawdog,
there is no separate bios for the highpoint. you have to flash the UL103 bios for the mobo, which has the 103 bios for the highpoint.
