Hi,
Sorry, everybody is looking for the latest, greatest, motherboard information.
but, I would like to upgrade AMD sokect A 1 GHz 200 MHz CPU to the fastest CPU which
this board can handle. I can't find AMD sokect A 1.4 GHz 200 MHz.
Is this board capable of running 1.4 GHz 266 MHz CPU?

Don't put a 266fsb chip in as it will run at 200fsb thus lowering the overall speed of the CPU.

The best chip you can get is a 1.3Ghz Duron. The 1Ghz and faster Durons are the newwer core so they will have SSE and some other goodies.

If that is not fast enough then you will need a new board. But a friend of mine has the same board and runs that chip. Just make sure you get the newwest Bios.
