I have a KT7 Raid and I can not get my zip drive to be reconized. When I install the drivers and reboot it comes up no zip drive foud. So I go into device manager and look at the controller card and one of the devices are not working. I have what I think the latest 4 in 1 drivers 4.24 so I do not know what to do.

BTW it is a zip 250.

Im assuming its a SCSI Zip 250 with a SCSI controller card? Is it an ISA or PCI? Is the PCI slot it is in a Bus mastered slot?..try a different slot. If it is ISA you may have to go into bios and setup the ISA correctly. Your Mobo manual might give you a clue on that.

I dont know how you have it configured, but dont put the Zip on the Raid controller, use a standard IDE controller. Make sure the drive is on the correct connector on the cable, set drive appropriately for Master or Slave on that cable, make sure the cable is properly attached pin 1 to pin 1 both on the drive and the mobo, that the power connector is properly attached, that you are using the latest drivers from Iomega, downloadable from www.Iomega.com. Also check in Bios that the IDE controller is active...some Bios allow disabling of the IDE..Basically check the manual and make sure all the bios settings are appropriate. Check the manual on the Zip to make sure jumpers are set correctly. Its easy to overlook one small detail. We all do it. :)

I will look again thank alot.
Now I feel that there is a problem with the onboard controller as it shows up with the ever popular yellow exclamation point. When I reinstall the 4 n 1 drivers it comes up the same.
Me going crazy

Check the properties of the controller and see if it gives you any clues. If it is disabled in bios you will get that lovely yellow mark..
