I just got a KT7 RAID & a tbird 900. Can I just increase the FSB to 133 & set the multiplier to 7.5x on this mobo? What's the best way to get an intial speed increase? Also, I'm running 2x128k of PC100 RAM.

Thanks.

It won't run at 133 fsb. try increasing the fsb+ in 1 mhz increments. The fsb/pci should be 100/33 . Since you have PC100 memory, you can't have memory clock =host+pci. You can try it if you have very good quality memory. Otherwise leave the memory clock=host clk.
And yes, the multiplier should be 7.5 but if you had done the pencil trick then you can try higher multipliers..

I know I can just increase the multiplier, I was just thinking it might run the system better if I crank the FSB up to 133....but I guess I can't do that......

fulopd-

The problem w/ the kt7-raid (and all kt133 chipset based mobo's) is that they cannot (in most cases) take a 133fsb. I have the same mobo and I can only get 112fsb (which turns out to be 224 because of the DDR nature of the chipset (ev6)). So in essence, what I am trying to say is... no you cannot :). Also, since you are running pc100 ram you will not be able to go much higher than 100fsb because of the limitation of your ram (unless you have some high quality ram that will take you higher...) The only configuration for the kt7 board for the ram frequency is either host clock (fsb) or host+pci clock (fsb + pci mhz speeds). Anyway, hope it helps...
