KT7-RAID and Zip100USB

Has anybody had a problem using a usb zip drive on the KT7? I install the Iomegaware software reboot and when Windows detects the drive it performs an illegal operation. I have all of the Motherboard drivers up to date and have other usb devices working fine. I talked to Iomega support and they told me that it must be an incompatability issue with the motherboard. Is anybody able to get a USB zip working with this board or does anybody have any suggestions what the problem might be?
