KT7 MB Upgrade

Has anyone had a problem with entering the BIOS in a KT7 MB?
I rebooted, hit the delete key to enter the BIOS and the screen just locked up, so I couldn't use the arrow keys to toggle between screens. I tried replacing the keyboard, the RAM, and upgrading to the most recent BIOS version. I finally fixed the problem by replacing the STB Powergraph 64 video card with an ATI Expert 128. Does anyone have any idea why the Powergraph card would not work with this new MB? My curiosity is killing me?
