KT7 drivers freezes Win98se

Ok I have win98se on the c drive, and I put the MB drivers on and reboot. When it comes back up I have no cd-rom support. I then try to manually install my slave drive but windows needs the win98se disk and since it can not find said cd-rom it freezes. Now it gets thru about 95% of booting.
Oh and before all this I tried to dual boot win2000 and I get some kind of Harddrive error on the original c drive?
Any ideas, or can you point to an article?
Thanks,
woodsea
