Ok folks, I'm a little new at this; this is my second homemade box and here are the specs on what's currently installed:

Antec SX1030 case with 300W supply
Abit KT7-RAID
Duron 700 (not overclocked yet)
FOP-32
128meg PC133 NEC ram
Two IBM drives, 10 gig and 30 gig, currently connected to the regular IDE 1.
An HP 8100 Plus CDRW, connected to IDE2
Generic floppy
Voodoo 3 AGP
Realtek Ethernet in PCI slot 4
a whole bunch of fans

I built this today, and on first boot I got a CPU Unworkable message, so I went into the BIOS. But I couldn't get it; hitting DEL gave me a screen with a flashing cursor in the top left corner and a thick blue bar near the bottom of the screen. I had to hard reset.
I could enter the BIOS on subsequent boots, and was able to configure the CPU, HDs, etc. Everything worked great, booted to Windows 98, etc.
I flashed to version WW and upon rebooting couldn't enter the BIOS again, with the same symptoms as before. Except this time, it hangs every time.
Now, here's the weird part. I can still boot into Windows just fine. I get the CPU Unworkable message on post, but if I continue via F1, windows boots and I'm golden. But I still can't get into the BIOS.
I've reflashed, I've flashed back to an older version, reflashed again, etc.
I'm out of ideas, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried doing the jumper to reset the bios, on the motherboard? With some of the weird things I've seen, it's become a standard practice on new boards, for me.

Make sure the CPU fan is on the CPU 3 pin connector with that bios as it states on Abits sight.
I beleive you also have to pencil in the L1 cache on Durons to get the to work.

I have the same problem with my SH6. Mine will boot and run fine but with my memory clock set to 133 mhz (PC-133 Infinion, I cannot enter the bios without clearing the cmos......Its a pain and I guess if they don't come up with a fix, or I figure it out, I'll be sending it back.
