Do KT600 boards (like the a7v600) get kinda bogged down when multitasking or gaming compared to NFORCE boards? If so, how much diff will an NFORCE make?

mmm...i dunno how much in numerical terms, but I do feel that it is slower than nforce2(8rda+ I owned before) when loading windows, max payne2, and I had trouble with audigy2 zs with it,it is now solved though. Other than that, multitasking wise, should be no problem if u've got enough ram...maybe 512 ?

the performance is very close to the nf2 (both with multitasking and when not)

i have a couple systems with an a7v600 (hehe even my main rig is an a7v600) and they have no problems at all with multitasking
