While I'm installing the OS, the computer turns off the monitor, blinks a white line for a little bit, then turns the monitor back on, but it keeps doing this while installing for about every 20 seconds. It's strange, anyone know how to fix it?

I know during the installation of 2K or XP the screen is "meant" to do that so to speak. It's part of the installation. It happens every time you install 2K or XP.

Does it work further? is it not working after this point? It sounds normal to me... but you didnt really give much detail... so I could be wrong.
