Kt3Ultra2 & Barton?

You are lucky. According to THIS .PDF FILE, no Epox KT333 boards support Barton chips. 🙁

Not lucky. Smart 🙂

Yep, it will work. One of the reasons I bought this board is because of it's 166Mhz FSB support...that and it outruns most KT-400's.

Hey now, my Epox board has wonderful 166MHz FSB support. It just doesn't support Barton chips yet. 🙂

Hmm I have the KT3 Ultra.. MS-6380E.. on the box it says KT333 chipset based, however there isnt support for barton yet. I chose to get the ultra because of its RAID features, and the fact that I would pay more to get more longevity out of it..
the ultra-2 has less features, costs less but now has Barton support ?? wtf.
MY mobo in the bios has a changeable FSB rate increment of 1....... I will not be happy if i cant run a barton
