My antec power supply has a fan speed detector. Do I plug this into the CPU Fan2 header? Or does it matter
This is the PS.

From Antec's site:
Note: Due to customer demand Antec has included a 2 wire/3 pin signal connector from the power supply to the motherboard to allow users to monitor the power supply's fan via the motherboard's BIOS. We've not yet had a chance to update the power supply's manual to reflect this addition.

Plugging it into any of the mainboards fan headers will work fine. All it does is use the rpm monitoring function.

If you actually want the fan to be monitored, be sure to plug it onto a mobo fan connector that is monitored either by your BIOS or hardware monitor software. IOW, on some mobos, one or more of the fan headears won't be monitored. They wil provide power, but that's it.
