Hello all,

I'm running into problems installing Win2k on the new computer I just put together. The components are:

MSI KT333
Athlon XP 1700+
256 MB PC2100
Gainward GeForce4 4200
Pioneer DVD-115
IBM Deskstar 30GB

It runs into errors during the Win2k setup sequence... Anyone have similar problems? And if so, what BIOS settings did you use to fix it?

First, you should have used PC2700 memory on that motherboard. It will work with 2100 I am told, but I am not sure of all the memory settings to get it to work. Also, if you do get PC2700, most of the time it is CAS2.5 and a lot of defaults are 2.
