KT266a --> Support Thoroughbred

Will the KT266a motherboards that are being sold now support the future Thoroughbred? Just curious, cause I want to buy myself a nice EPOX MB, and I'm hesitating which Athlon XP CPU to buy. If the KT266a supports the next generation AMD cpu's I will not buy the top of the line now, otherwise I will.

I wish I knew more about the Thoroughbred. If it's the same .18 like the current AMD chips it may be supported by a simple BIOS upgrade. Honestly, I wouldn't worry about the next chip. Just get something for now. If I were you, I would go for the Athlon XP 1600+. Great price/performance ratio.

Thoroughbred = 0.13, but I believe even some of the current XP's are 0.13.
