<< DSLReports has useful information updated on a daily basis. Anandtech has articles on the Ipod, Gamecube, Shuttle's Crap-in-a-Box, 1U cooling, and 17 articles on the Radeon's unrealized potential. I remember when Anand used to have 7 or 8 page reviews on one motherboard. Now we get "roundups" with each board getting half a paragraph. But since nobody's getting paid to write this stuff and I'm not paying to read it, my options for protest are minimal. >>
DSLR is a news compiler. It pastes stories from the Internet. Anandtech writes its own articles, but it too also pastes just as many articles, usually more, as DSLR does, in its Web News section. You will find countless reviews there. I think it's kinda cool that Anandtech is posting some articles on odd things that aren't as well covered, because you can see so much of that other stuff by looking on other sites. Comparing DSLR content to Anand content really is apples and oranges, as they are completely different sites. Anand for hardware enthusiasts, DSLR for, well, broadband things, and general computer industry news.
Besides, it doesn't make a lot of sense to punish TeAm Anandtech for what the Anandtech web site is. They are completely different. The people that run Anandtech have nothing to do with the team. You appear to like the anandtech forums, well, that really is what you are supporting when you join the team. The people at Distributing Computing are very nice, and I don't see why they need to be snubbed. Though I doubt they would be all that nice to you now...
