KT133A or AMD 760??

I'm about to take the plunge into the AMD world and was wanted to get some opinions about which chipset to go with? I've read a bit about them both but not having dealt with T-Birds before I was wondering what some of you long time AMDers thought.

Thanks!!

If you are ready to use money on a AMD 760 chip you shure should buy it, but VIA will suddently launch a new chip witch supports the same things as the AMD-760. As an example: Dual TBird, DDR and alot of other things. The KT113/KT113A is far more used, and therefore more stable, but the AMD sure supports new fancy features!
But the idea of AMD making chipsets is just because VIA can get some inspiration from AMD and make another - faster - similar chip.
The KT113A would be my choise but it's individual, anyway.
🙂

The 760 mobos are going to cost more and so is the DDR RAM. The difference could be about $80. The VIA based mobos are offering alot of features for little money.

Couldn't take it any longer. I finally just broke down and ordered the MSI K7T Pro 2-A from Monarch computers. Seems to be a choice board and I can use my current 3 sticks of PC133 Mushkin 128MB RAM. Now....off to buy the processor....heh..heh..heh....can't wait to get all this is.
