KT133A mobo

While the "A" is certified to run at 133 MHz, it still uses plain old SDRAM such that you can use your PC133 module.

Now, someone tell me where to buy that mobo.

I hope Abit puts out a KT7 -A anyone know if they will?? this board would be very fast with high grade ram.

Would a KT133A be faster than a DDR PC1600 System? I know it isn't far shy of the PC2100 systems. (according to our friend, Tom Pabst) 😛

If anywhere in the US stocked them, they would be sold out in two minutes flat. The K7t pro2A is not the MSI KT133A board. The K7T Turbo is to my understanding. (See the other two dozen threads about the same thing for more info).

Why go to Japan for KT133A mobo?

Most of Big name mobo manufacture are from Taiwan, as matter of fact, I don't even know if Japan makes any good mobo?

Anyhow, Epox 8KTA3 and 8KTA3+ (w/ Raid) already out in the U.S.

Don't want to advertise for any company, just go to pricewatch, and do little search there....

<<Why go to Japan for KT133A mobo?>>

You didnt get it. Ever noticed all those cool stuff always come out first in Japan? No, it has nothing to do with whether the manufacturer is Taiwanese or Japanese. E.g, they've got the 20Gig platter HDDs two weeks before we do, they've got the Asus KT133A mobo two weeks ago, they have the Duron 850 about a month ago, and the Celeron 800 100MHz fsb appeared in Japan two weeks ago.

you reckon you yanks have got it bad :Q

In Australia, we don't get certain hardware some MONTHS after you guys have it 🙁
