I was going to post a similar thread. The mobo I have coming (delivery pushed back till Monday) is the IWILL KK266-R. I HOPE I don't receive one with the "8.5 CPU Multiplier Lock" problem. If so, its on its way back to IWILL for a no-charge replacement.

I installed the 4.28's on a system with a Via Apollo Pro 133 (non "a") chipset and they seem to be pretty well suited to the system. It was built for my brother who has "low system" requirements.

The I-WILL support page for the KK266-R, however, recommends using the 4.23's!!!!

Hmmmmm!!!

4.28 works great in my system. using 2k, so as long as i don't install the ide driver everything's perfect.

if you install the ide driver in win2k, it can corrupt your Atapi driver loader, and you'll have no choice but to reformat. I dont know if it locks up in the install you could be screwed. I am running win2k on a kt133 now, with not a single via driver and its working fine.

4.29 Final in both mine (MSI K7T Pro) and a friend's (Abit KT7), works flawlessly.

Was using the 4.28 drivers but my Logitech joystick usb crashed and haven't been able to detect it since, Logitech support said need to use 4.25, we'll see. Everything else was fine though.
