Currently my newest system is running 1.78volts @ 900 on a Duron 600 Abit KT133 setup @ 45c.

However, the Chrome Orb I intended to use with the heatsink does not fit properly. Its due to the fact that the capacitors are way too close to the socket housing. And the fastening mechanism on the Chrome orb is static and does not change position after installation.

(Coming to this realization was irritating)

However since already treated the L1 bridges with loctitie resign compound I deicded to use the golden orb. The golden orb was thouroghly excercised and fit was tight but not extremely tight.

In my opinion the golden orb is better.
1)at least it fits on the abit.
2)And when fastened the golden orb provides space for the capacitors. This is due to the turning mechanism.
3) the tighter fit mates on the surface more efficiently.

Also I used artic silver for thermal compound. Remeber my Gold Orb was excercise thouroghly and in fact it had been on a celery for a while.

What does anyone else think?
