Canadian Tire doesn't have any Vinyl Die, but they do have this krylon stuff which says it is specifically for plastics, that it bonds to the plastic particles.

Do you guys think this would be an ok substitue for vinyl die to spray a monitor black with ?

Well considering I called color your world and they don't even know what vinyl die is, I don't have much choice.

It would be a great excuse to get a new monitor if it fvcks up.

If you really need vinyl dies, then check out a car restoration shop. They should carry that stuff. Just check the yellow pages and I am sure you will find what you need.

My sister used some on one of those cheap white back yard chairs and got great results.

Same results here on white resin table and chairs.

I made some serious mistakes while doing this, but luckily the paint job still looks good. I didn't clean the monitor with rubbing alcohol (forgot) and then forgot about some of the masking on the front.

It's no big deal because this will be a secondary monitor shortly.
