Was listening to KROQ today and they said there's something "big" planned for tomorrow night (Friday 8/25) and that they're not announcing it until The Kevin & Bean Show tomorrow morning ...

Edit: The surprise is a free KROQ-only show with The Killers, playing stuff from their new album Sam's Town, which isn't out until early October. :thumbsup:

Too bad everyone's calling into the station. Tickets are impossible to get. 🙁
 
Are they still playing Alternative music? You might as well go to satellite radio to hear any decent music anymore.

Yes they are. And different people have different ideas of "decent music." Besides, satellite costs money that I don't want to pay.

Yeah tomomrrow night will be the press conference/party thing announcing the reunion where they'll give a tease performance of sweet child o mine, but the real deal will be at inland invasion.

First you guys need to go live in the middle of nowhere Indiana where there ARE no rock/alternative/contemporary/whatever stations. Its nice to listen to some alternative on the radio when I come home.

I live in a similar area where there's literally no radio reception, so satellite works best. Try also Internet Radio....

I mostly listen to my own collection, my roommate's collection, and Pandora.
