WTF happened to Kevin & Bean? A local station is rebroadcasting KROQ's morning show...and now they have apparently replaced Kevin & Bean with Adam Carolla.

Am I the only one that thinks that the Adam Carolla show is pretty lame?

K&B was pretty much the only thing worth listening to in the mornings here....there used to be a really good local show but it got all messed up.
 
they are still on where i am at..i was listening to them this morning...i have listened to them for a long time too
 
If that Adam Corolla show is the one that's tagged " The Free Beer and Wings Show" then we have it here too. Yeah, it sucks.
 
ummmm...Is that the same KROQ in LA? Because Adam Corolla replaced Howard Stern in his markets and Howard Stern wasn't on KROQ and as far as I know, Kevin and Bean are still on.
 
K&B are alive and well on KROQ. Carolla replaced Stern here in LA. I guess your local affiliate chose to air Carolla instead of K&B.
 
Yeah, that's the one then. He replaced Stern in Albany, NY too.

There was a lot of hype on Howard Stern about David Lee Roth hosting a show and taking up to half of Stern's old market. I was kind of hoping for him instead.

But Adam was saying on the show that they are doing it at KROQ so.... Maybe it's just some syndicated thing that the pre-record and play whenever.
 
heh, i never knoew KROQ was a national radio show. I thought it was only in LA. i guess that's why they say it's "world famous" ehh..

I was listening to KROQ last week, and the station was rebroadcasting a few clips from the past year or so since they were off for a week or so for the holiday season.

One of the clips I heard was about them having a Fresno radio station as their only (remaining?) affiliate broadcasting their show, and had learned (or came to a conclusion) that their show might have been replaced. So K & B made a call to the radio station that was airing their show in the area, and spoke with somebody there (it was not the station manager). I don't know when this clip originally aired, but at the time, the show was playing in Fresno.

It seems to me like the change had to be within this week or two, I think.

Yup it's KFRR out of Fresno that I listen to.

They started Carolla's show on Jan. 3rd I believe.

Maybe cheaper? It should be with the craptastic-ness of the Carolla show.
