Talk about being the most over-hyped thing in the world. I'll take a doughnut from a local Cub Foods Bakery any day over Krispy Krap. Lets see - their doughnuts are about 30% smaller, and more expensive the your average doughtnut. Someone remind me, why all the hype about a crappy little doughnut?

Been there, done that, still suck.
They're like the Taco Bell of donuts...greasy, small, overpriced, and I have to drop my friends off 10 min. after I eat them.
And they don't taste nearly as good as other tacos (donuts).

I completely agree. Their donuts do suck. I'll take the donuts from my local grocery store over theirs any day. Though if someone offered me a Krispy Kreme, I wouldn't turn it down, it's still a donut. I just would never pay for any.

Any doughtnut "hot off the line" will melt in your mouth. People hype up these doughnuts like you'll be able to fly after you eat them. Krispy Kreme = Segway of doughnuts.

Here Here! I agree whole heartedly, I wish everyone would jump off of the Krispy Krap bandwagon. They aren't that good; they're tooooo heavy, too small, and toooo glazed. I'll take Dunkin Donuts over KK(K?) any day.

I had my first Krispy Kreme three years ago when I moved to Atlanta. I have to say they are the best doughnut I have ever had. I prefer them over any thing else out there. If you don't think so, that is cool. Everyone is entitled to their own tastes and opinions.

I agree that Krispy Kreme is overhyped, they are good but a little too sugary and they have no beef to them.. I need a man's donut..

The majority of local donut shops around here beats them out with better taste, cheaper price, and larger sized donuts...

Oh and uh.. Westernco Donuts beats Krispy Krap hands down..

Dunkin Donuts is plain awful, maybe not in taste but their joints are dirty, all I can think about when I go into one is this one time I saw fruitflies all over the inside of one near me and they were on the donuts.. funny thing was they were still serving the donuts to people :disgust:

I agree, Krispy Kreme donuts are way overhyped considering they're so... not... awesome.
Every time I hear a bunch of people talking about them, "Dude, they're putting in a Krispy Kreme, like, 10 miles from here! Holy crap!", I want to beat them senseless with a garden hoe. As for the people who camp out overnight for the grand opening of Krispy Kremes, I think I can find bigger, sharper implements to hit them with.
The name is terrible, too. Blech.
