Did they change the formula for environmental reasons? It just does not seem to glue stuff the same anymore. I remember if you got it on your fingers you were in a world of hurt, now it takes like 3 days to dry the stuff to get it to stick barely.

That's a good question, I have noticed that myself. I tried to use some to hold down a little piece of wallpaper that tore, and it wouldn't stick.

It is because of idiots things are not the same. They call 911 and say I accedently glued my a$$ to the chair. Then the glue company has to make the formula weaker, and weaker...

I love JB Weld. It can serve as a glue and it can fill gaps and cracks. Heck you could make a lump of it and then machine it to whatever shape you want later. I bet you could even put threads in a chunk of it.
I haven't seen any krazy glue or super glue that has the overall usefullness of JB Weld.

yeh I have been trying to superglue a fan to a heatsink forever now. I've got some JB weld at home and I think I will use that. It just stinks to high heaven when you mix it up.

I gotta agree with the consensus here...although I haven't taken time to look and see if the particular ingredients are different, I have noticed that the newer krazy glue is not nearly as krazy and I would definitely not use it on my hard hat to hang from a construction site (as could be done with the original...supposively...take it with a grain of salt) ;)

Yea, I glued some scisors back together thinking they would hold... next day they broke again, plus the extra I got on my finger pealed off in an hour... it sucks now :(
