KR7A133 & Crucial DDR problems?

I'm having problems with my new KR7A-133 & 4 sticks of Crucial 256mb PC2100/unbuffered/nonECC. Can only run maybe 1 of them (in
DIMM 4) at 133mhz stable. Can run 2 sticks (DIMM3/4) at 133mhz, but very unstable. Can't run ANY stick in DIMM1...This is not an OS problem, most problems are at POST, if I restart from BIOS I get long continous beeps(RAM problem) & no POST. Tho from a cold boot it will POST into Win98, but at 133mhz & SPD settings OS is not stable. I've tried all slots & combinations, plus all of Paul's KR7A FAQ tips...

Bottom line: the only way I can run them all stable in Win98 is at 100mhz & SPD settings, everything runs fine then. RAM seems to pass
all MemTest86 & DocMemory tests, may be a bad batch of Crucial DDR, but that seems unlikely. I have a new Sparkle 350watt PS.

Seems like an compatibility issue with the KR7A133? Any one else have similar problems? TIA

CPU?
Is your DDR registered or un-registered?
The board supports 4 banks unregistered and 8 banks registered.
Check for BIOS upgrades and incompatibilities.

XP1900+CPU is fine. My DDR is unregistered, tho I do not think that's the issue here, since even 2 sticks are unstable at 133mhz.

Yes, I'm hoping a BIOS update will help this...

Anyone here able 2 run Crucial 256mb/ECC/Registered sticks in a KR7A133/R? I have heard the ECC may be a problem?
