KR7A-RAID "stuck" in UDMA 2

My KR7A-RAID with 2 Maxtor D740X drives shows IDE 4 (secondary RAID channel) as UDMA 2. All the faster settings are "greyed out". Abit's Tech support people have been non-supportive (pun intended).

I have each drive on a different channel. I have switched the cables and no matter which drive is connected to IDE 4 it always shows UDMA 2 (ATA33). IDE 3 (Primary RAID channel) always shows UDMA 6 (ATA133).

The Abit tech support guy sent me one email that made little sense ("switch cables and make sure to use ATA133 cables). Abit has not responded to the last 2 emails. I have noticed on several web sites that others are having problems but not like mine.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.
