KR7A-RAID proc support

the specs say the board will run up to 1.4ghz, my friend says the board can support any of the new chips beyond 1.4ghz..is this true?

I ran a XP1700+ on mine. I think you are fine up to a XP2200-2400+.

I built a computer for my daughter using this motherboard in April - I put an XP1800+ in it. Then I built my son a computer using the same KR7 series board in August, and put an XP2000+ in that system.

ABIT shows that they have rolled up the BIOS on this motherboard, and it will accomodate any XP series CPU up to, and including the XP2100+.
