KR7A-Raid, Major performance hit. Why?

Here are my specs now.

KR7A-Raid
Athlon XP 1800
Crucial 256MB RAM PC2100
Geforce2 MX400 64MB
SB Live Value

WCPUID says it is running at normal settings. 266 MHz DDR etc.

And some other junk which don't matter in this case.

The performance in Sisoft Sandra for example in the memory benchmark ranges in the 500's. Can someone explain this anomaly and help me to fix it?

I have a KG7-Raid and it seems to be performing just as good or better than the KR7A-Raid.

Use a more aggressive memory setting in your BIOS. It sounds like you're running in 200mhz (PC1600) mode for your RAM. Unless, of course, you are running PC1600.

The weird thing is.... My brother built a system with the exact same motherboard, ram and video card. And an Athlon XP 1700 yesterday and it performs just as poorly. I have the latest detonator? Is there a missing bios setting that we need to adjust?

Dood! I have a 1700+ and the Kr7a, 512mb of Crucial ddr and
ALU = 743
FPU = 815
MY ddr is 2.5 but I am running it at 2! good luck😛

I increased the memory settings for more performance and I just now broke 600! CL 2, CPU FAST Decode Ultra.
