Hi, guys I have the following:

Kr7a-Raid
AMD XP 1800+ (not OC'ed)
Alpha Pal8045 w/Delta 80cfm
Radeon AIW/Voodoo3
2 256mb Crucial 2100
431W Enermax
Lian Li PC60USB case
Pioneer 106s Slot
Maxtor 60 GB ATA 100 7200RPM
Artic Silver2

I installed everything double and triple checking, and when I power up both the green and yellow LED's light, and I get a "beep....pause.....beeep.....pause....beeep.....pause...beeep"
The bios never comes up and I don't get a signal out to the monitor (but all my fans come on and board checks drives). I know this is a supposide RAM error. But how do you exactly fix this (specifically)? Also, could it be that my Alpha is not seated on the CPU correctly??? Please help...

Try to run the motherboard outside of the case, ie. set it on the motherboard box and connect just the necessities first (cpu/heatsink, 1 stick of crucial, Radeon, HD). It could be because it's shorting on the case which happened with my asus board once. If that's the problem, make sure you only install enough standoffs to match the holes in the motherboard.

that sounds like it might be a problem with your video card, i would try another video card in there, and also i would try clearing the bios using the jumpers,
always a good idea to try that.

Do you have the fan pluged into header Fan 1 for the CPU, if not plug a fan in there to boot up.

I had this exact same prob, two nights ago. My KR7A-R arrived on Friday.

Move your Ram to the fourth slot, then try starting up. The manual says to populate from slot1 ->4, but Abit has had this same prob in the past. Put one stick in the 4th slot, then boot up. After you get up and running, thenni'd go back and put the second stick in slot 3.

Good luck.

Thank you so much Triggerhappy! These forums are awesome. I had a KR7A board that I could not get to even power on. Turns out I had too many standoffs that I hadn't bothered taking out. One of them was shorting a capacitor - DOH!!

These forums are worth their weight in gold!!
