I like KPop. I also find their business model interesting. It's a bit much in the way the entertainment groups train and then "control" their artists, but it does help avoid melt downs and train wrecks like Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, etc...

Kpop is getting a lot more attention than I thought it'd ever get. I was quite suprised to see this. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=wedding+dress+highschool&aq=f
All these highschool kids, not just Asians but whites/blacks seem to know and like the song.

Anyways, I think this is the best of Kpop or Korean modern music.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sp5aJ-99mjY

BTW, in case you haven't noticed, Mentioning KPop on ATOT brings out more trolls and ragers than it does KPop fans.

Fucking Kpop. 20 years I've had to listen to the stuff, and after 20 years its always been the exact same thing, except now it has more of a hip hop vibe to it.

WHY.

KPOP was better in the early 70s. They played a lot of Motown.

So you're saying it's the same, but it's not?

As in 99% of the songs are almost exactly the same. The voices are always the same, the theme is the same, the music sounds the same, it looks the same, etc etc. But in that 1% it's gotten even worse with the introduction of more hip hoppy stuff. So now, in the middle of songs, they are now compelled to put in shitty hip hop segments. So its shitty KPop + shitty Hip Hop.

And how is that different from any other type of pop/rock?

There is a saying that if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything. But I'll make an exception for kpop. It sucks, no ifs, ands or buts about it.
