Wife wants a handgun. I hear they are on the smaller size.
Wednesday, we went shooting. She shot a .357 with .38s and .357 loads. She felt the .357 was too heavy.I shot a .25 Beretta before and thought it was kind of puny. They asked me if I wanted to try the .45/75 and I told them F no!![]()
She's a really good shot. .45s too big for her. .38/.380/9mm is what I am looking at.They can be very small and very light, I have a PM45.
Small and light however are probably not what you should be buying for your wife unless she is already quite experienced.
The recoil on the PM45 is barely manageable, and absolutely punishing to put a serious amount of ammo through.

She shot a .38 with a 2" barrel and liked that. She really liked the Kimber .45 with a .22 conversion kit and Crimson Trace grips.
Carry sized. DS/SA. I am going to go look at them here in a bit.Are you looking for something carry sized? My brother has a MK9, it's a much more pleasant gun to shoot compared to mine. Smaller round + heavier gun.
It's also marginally smaller than the PM45, essentially just a few mm thinner and shorter.
