KOTOR 2 not seeing my 8800GTX

Ok, so i decided to re-install KOTOR2 since its a great game ive never finished.

My problem is, i cant get the game to recognize my 8800GTX.

I updated the game to the latest version using the auto updater.
And i grabbed the latest Nvidia drivers (158.22)

But i still get a "flag" when i run the KOTOR scan hardware / configuration that says my 8800gtx does not meet the minimum recommended specs for the game.

Any ideas?

And im wondering even if i do get that fixed if i'll get widescreen support.
 
My 7900GTX got the same flag in the config screen, but I run the game anyway and just set up all the options within the game.

If you really want widescreen support go to widescreenforum.com (or .net ?).

Keep in mind it probably wont be real widescreen but fullscreen with the top and bottom chopped off.
 
That's okay. The game should run fine. Even more recent games like Half Life 2 go crazy when you try to run them on a Core 2 Duo because they don't meet the recommended requirements of a 2.8GHz P4 :laugh:
