These are outstanding headphones. I bought a pair about a year ago, and they're worth every penny. You can't get portable headphones any better.

I saw some people at the olympics with these... and I got a pair too. The bass actually thumps a little on your ears, great cans. Portable, and sound great! I wouldn't say ugly... it's more like old school +sport gone wrong. Okay they're ugly.

Many people got in on the deal from Koss where these were sold at a 50% discount (regular price $49.99). This was months ago - almost a year ago - and I haven't seen that deal since.

So yes, this is a good deal.
