YMMV B&M

Radioshack have these for $5.47 a piece.

These are a steal @ $20 because they sound very good for music, but I guess Radioshack is clearing them out.

YMMV of course as some people on SD are still getting regular price in their area, just call before you drop by your local Radioshack.

Nothing beats these for the money before, and now at this price they are a steal.

I picked up 2 as backups/modders since they were so cheap!

WOW! I have built so many homemade headphones with these as they sound great and are cheap! Might buy a dozen if my local RS has em for that cheap! Thanks!

Nice price.

Do these ones have the inline volume control? (edit: see volume control in pic)

I think there were some that did and some that didn't have the inline volume. Mine does, IIRC. Haven't used them in a while, because I tend to use in-ear plugs, plus these look kind of silly. Still, they sound really good and $5.47 is dirt cheap!

I picked up a few couple of days ago and they have VC. They make nice stocking stuffers for $5.

Their sound quality is good even before the mods - they beat any gamer headset with better soundstage. They are also one of the best options for portable music.

These are good and I use them for jogging without any issues.

That sucks. Called my local store and they had them in stock at $19.99. That store never seems to have anything on clearance.

Koss makes great headphones. They get a crap reputation because some of their stereo/speaker equipment is junk, but their headphones I like.

What sort of mods are we talking here? I am think of adding better wire than the stock set.

These remind me of the guns that have "REPLICA" engraved on them in the movie Snatch.
My Sansa has REFURB in big ugly letters on the back plate.
