Koss ksc 35 OR Koss Ksc 50 + Sony Remote

I've read how great the Koss ksc 35 are, but are they worth the extra 24 dollars over the Koss ksc 50? After all they have the same drivers only the casing is different (I read all the treads at head-fi). Shold I get the ksc 50 + a Sony MD remote (around 40) or the ksc 35 are really that much better than the 50? Trying the get the best bang for the buck here. I am not an audiophile and I will only use them with my MD.
