Koss headphone warranty.

Says lifetime warranty on the package but theres a warranty form in it. Do I need to call them or send the form off? Or will they still replace them on down the road if they die or break?

Anyone have any trouble RMA'ing their headphones?

IIRC, in California you don't have to send in the card for it to be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. I don't know about KY.

Ok I got them off ebay and on the online warranty form its asking for store name. What should I put? Also it asks for a serial number but I don't see one of them or the package. What should I put? Will they give the warranty and me putting ebay on it? Or should I put something else?

Just hang onto your receipt in case you ever need to prove you purchased them. As the previous poster said, you do not have to send in warranty cards to validate a warranty.

BTW, Koss is excellent on their warranty-they are in the LL Bean class of customer service.

I got some Koss SportaPro headphones off a website a few years ago. Can't remember if I sent in the card or did the online form, probably the latter. I've had to send them back 2 or 3 times now because the cord keeps shorting out right below the drivers. Just boxed them up and included a $6 money order for shipping and they've given me a brand new pair every time. Usually takes 2 or 3 weeks to arrive.

I don't remember having to enter in a serial number.

Well I bought these off ebay so I have no receipt. Anyway for what little they are worth if I have to pay shipping both ways I would be better off buying a new pair(they only retail for $19.99).

well, i live about 15 minutes from their world headquarters, so i just take em in, give them to koss, and they fix it for free. but, i dont think that would work in your case, so i guess just send em in.

hold on... their website has instructions - basically send in your headphones, along with $6 shipping and handling, and contact information. go to www.koss.com for instructions
