now that ive seen a pic, that player is butt-ugly. i guess its redeeming factor is its size and being hackable

does anyone remember the older sony minidvd player? it usedto sell for $699 then it got dropped to like $299 at goodguys for liquidation. that thing looked sweet cuz it was aluminum. it was similar in style to that koss, but much skinnier and classier. too bad they didnt keep the same style, cuz the new sony minidvd is butt-ugly too

found it

How is the Sampo hack holding up?
Where can I get a Sampo remote?
Is the Koss firmware upgradeable using CD-R?
More info!!!

Thanks for all the great pics.
I plan on using my Koss and Gamevue to play DVDs in the minivan (yuchh!!?) for the kids (sigh...).

Currently, I have a Apex AD1200. Will this work in my vehicle or will the movies skip etc while the car is in motion?
Really, what I am asking is that if this Koss mobile DVD player is different from an Apex in the field of anti-skip
protection? If not, I would be able to use the Apex in my vehicle with no skipping problems that that in CD Players right?
Thanks for any help.
