Way off topic, I remember watching a ultimate fighting thing with Tank Abbot.
Basically Tank is a big fat hillbilly that looks like he drinks too much and likes to start fights in bars.
He was fighting a Judo champion guy, announcer was talking the Judo dude up like was on the Olympic team, fought some Korean guy, won whatever award 3 times, fought whoever guy during whatever international match. Judo dude is doing what you’d expect a professional to do, stretching, practice punching, getting water fed to him, jumping around.
Tank was standing outside the ring, I think he was smoking a cigarette just staring at Judo guy. He lumbers into the ring, bell sounds, Tank takes a light hit or two, Judo guy does some weird kick thing, Tank grabs Judo guy throws him on the ground and pummels him. Ref stops the fight Tank wins.
Epic example of skill vs practice. Big rotund guys can be really effective.
