Korea monitor and 5970 problem

When I was shopping at the Shimia web site thier Monitors are not compatible with my Ati 5970 card. why
I believe my 5970 has a daul and a single DVI out.
Why is there a compatible problem with Shimia 2560x1440.

Does their website list all cards that are compatible, and you can't find the 5970 on that list?

Or, does their website list all cards that are incompatible, and your 5970 is on that list?

Ati
5570,5750,5670,5970 are not compatible.
Nvida only lists 9500gt as not compatible.

There isn't. The list is wrong.

There has not yet been one documented case where the monitor works, the "incompatible" video cards, but they will not work with each other. It is really a mystery as to what the incompatibility list refers to and why it lists the cards that it does, given that its assertions that certain cards are incompatible are blatant lies.

FWIW, my Catleap 2B worked perfectly fine (in fact, better as far as stability) on a HD 5770 (incompatible...) than on a GTX 680 (not on list).

That is a strange monitor. Why you making life hard on yourself and get the cheapest ctfmon. It would give problems in the future. What kind of warranty and RMA they have ?

Just hook it up to a dual link DVI port. Something probably got lost in translation between Korean and English and it became Engrish.

After checking out many reports and ordering one myself tonight, I believe that they mean you will not see your bios screen with the 5970. Windows will show OK. Once you have a dual link DVI port, everything should be good except for the mentioned limit.

I also just read about bios blank screens but thanks.
