Korea@Home seems like a very interesting new DC project, I'll try it later today and will give feedback!

It really seems to be a project like WCG or Ibercivis which hosts apps for every taste:

Information Technology

  • Analysis of TFT-LCD Characteristics
    Block Cipher DES Key Screening
    Factorization Analysis
    Global Risk Management

Bio Technology

  • Screening Candidate Compounds for New Drugs
    Dielectric Hierarchy Comparison
    Analysis of Protein Folding

Earth Technology

  • Climate Forecast of Korean Peninsula
    High-resolution Precipitation Forecast

SpaceTechnology

  • Korean SETI (VLBI)

As you see they have many different scientific objectives.

The Korea climate project is something special for our korean friends and their SETI project looks really interesting.

yes, you need to use a translation service as the korean site has a lot more info than I expected.

the fact that it's not boinc is really a negative point...

But it's KOREA@HOME! My home country!

If it were not for many other issues, I would like to move back to Asian just for their internet superiority. 😉
