So I have been looking into water cooling for awhile and I recently just stumbled upon this awesome price for a Koolance PC2-650 here: http://www.infotechnow.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=1632
I think for $149 you cant really beat it, especially since it is including a water cooling kit. Which cooler would I need for my cpu and gpu (a64 3200 and 6800 gt)? You guys think this is a good route to go for a water cooling newbie?

xoxide.com was selling the same case... only without the fancy lighted door for $114. You still need a waterblock which will add another $40-50 or so and your choice will be slightly limited since the tubing is 1/4 ID.

that being said... it's not bad at all for someone new to watercooling. my brother got the case from xoxide... a waterblock and a gpu block. 2500+ @ 3200+ is now idling at 27c and load is at 35c. :)

I just checked xoxide and the cheapest one they have is $152, still a good price. Those are some damn good temps, I think next paycheck ill buy this along with a waterblock for the cpu.

Yeah sorry, I didn't check if they still had it in stock. Looks like they were clearing them out.

We tried running the case with no fans at all but the fanless northbridge and HD weren't happy at all.

I running Koolance PC2-600 and PC2-650, both water-cooled systems on P4-3.0ghz o/c to 3.7Ghz, memory has stopped me from any higher overclock.

No problems and the PC2-600 is almost one year old. I running around 31 degrees celsuis.

I'd highly recommend it for a first time water cooled system. I got the black 650 (which, oddly enough was slightly more expensive than the blue one) and can highly recommend it. I got the standard Koolance GPU waterblock (GPU-180-L06) for about ~$30 and it seems to be running just fine, while my Koolance CPU waterblock (CPU-300-H06) keeps things nice and cool on that front for ~$45. It looks like they have a new 6800 GPU cooler which does both the core and the memory, but I think it's like $70-80 and I haven't noticed any problems with the ram heatsinks they provide with the GPU kit. I went for the Koolance waterblocks mostly for the simplicity (it's one of the few manufacturers that use 1/4" tubing on their blocks/systems), though I suppose you could get others that work just as well.

Now that they've released their new cases and are liquidating the 601/650s, you can find these gems for cheap. I think I paid $300-350 at the time for all the parts+shipping. Now you can probably get the same stuff for ~$225. Ah well, such is life. Good luck with the system, you won't regret it.

I got mine at Xoxide.com. At the time, that was the cheapest place around when you factored in shipping. The case is heavy so that came out to about $40 extra, but others were asking as much as $60. Zipzoomfly has the case now for $133, but I think they will charge you more for shipping on it than Infotech. At the very least, I would get the waterblocks at ZZF, as they look to be about the cheapest for those, and they include free 2nd day shipping. If you can't get them there (the GPU waterblock appears to be on back order), just look at the 7 or so featured merchants on the Koolance website and I'm sure you can find a reasonable price.
