Koolance and Swifttech Watercooling cases, need input

SP33Demon

Lifer
If anyone has one of these cases or knows someone who has one, could you please comment on it? I'm looking to buy one of these, and read a review that said the Swifttech PowerQ was a little better, but that both are quality cases... I want to overclock a 2000+ XP on the new Epox 8K3A+, and it seems like this combo with the watercooling case would be ideal. Thanks!

Just bought myself the midtower version of the Koolance case. Once I get it, set it up and do some testing I'll let ya know what kind of performance to expect. I bought the CPU-200 block as well (because the machine I am cooling is a P4 Northwood).

I have the PC2-C Case. I love this thing.

It cools alittle better then the Alpha 8045 but its really quite compared to the fans running full tilt in the Enlight case that I had setup.

The heat exchanger looks good but its inclosed. The Swift Model looks really good. The RAD is outside the case and looks better then the Koolance. It should cool better then the Koolance.

Overall I would buy another one when the time comes.

You can see picture on my web site.

I have built my share of watercooled rigs but the last computer I built went into a Quiet Power. It's the best case/cooling solution I have used, period. You can read the rest of my thoughts in this review. A comparison between the Koolance and the Quiet Power can be found here. No offense to the Koolance owners, but the Swiftech is in a class by it's self.

I personaly think it's much more enjoyable and rewarding to put together your own watercooling system. for the same price you get much better performance also. I would just read up on how to make your own, if you want some adivce I'd be glad to help.

Guys,

Think I'm going to go with the SwiftTech... but ATC9001, if you could post a better setup for watercooling that would be cheaper, yet perform better, than let us all know! Thanks!
