Kohan 2 wasn't all that bad

In many ways, Kohan 2 is a better version of civilization 5.

- You have set "cities" and resources you need to develop

- you move your armies around to attack cities

- there are "goody huts" scattered around the map

- when you capture an enemy city, the citizens remain the same as before.

- your units gain xp. In civ 5 I basically play it with a few units that I want to remain leveled up through the entire game.

If you have to qualify your discussion thread with a title that uses the term "wasn't all that bad" you are fighting a losing battle. Give up now.

No, I"m going to keep on pushing.

It's actually pretty good. Not so much as an RTS, but it actually compares favorably vs Civilization games. I get in a similar mindset while playing, but there are far less annoyances with KOHAN.

Kohan 2 wasn't as good as the first two Kohan games, which were nearly impossible without some kind of cheat code. It was a somewhat interesting take on many RTS themes. You could go into debt, which would prevent you from being able to make new units, and you basically had to manage an economy. There were tradeoffs between speed and combat efficiency.

They were good games, but I think their appeal is probably going to be somewhat limited.
