Kodi and the letter 'C'

I've had problems with this on an old laptop, you type a word and the 'C' key is very laggy. I just thought it was something with the old laptop. Fast forward to using a newer laptop and it happens here also. I thought I would check the interwebs before posting here, and sure enough it's an issue for other people

Yep, same problem on Linux and Windows. I thought it was my wireless keyboard until it did the same with my wired keyboard. Seems it may be fixed in the latest version (17), but I haven't checked yet.

Still happens to me on 17. It's ok though, 'aptain ameria' is a decent flik.

I checked last night and didn't have any delays, and the suggestion to hold C worked as intended.

If I hold "a" on my keyboard it keeps adding up like "aaaaaaaaa" but if I do it with "c" it only displays it once and ends up like "c".
The strange thing though is that when I hold LeftShift and "c" at the same time it works fine and displays as "CCCCCCCCCCCC".
