When we first got this in, the lens looked as if camera was dropped, it was all out of wack. Not sure if would have been able to fix that without replacing entire lens assembly altogether.

Did so.
Now I have it back together. Turned it on to see how awesome it would work, then the lens came out & got stuck, now will not retract.
Spewing out error 10f, 1, 0, 0

Charged the battery to see if lack of power was issue, but hasn't changed.

Ideas?

From a quick bit of research it seems that is an error code Easyshare cameras give when there is tension on the lens extension mechanism possibly caused by grit or dirt. Sounds like it needs a good cleaning or maybe even some careful lubrication.
