I need one, but I have not seen one user review give it more than 1 star. The weird thing is that every review is the same. On every shopping site I visit, all of the reviews are the same.

Anyway, I had one and I don't remember it being that bad. Has anyone had one? Is it really that bad? Is there a better batter I can recharge in the Kodak docking station? I don't want to have to shell out $3-400 for a G2. :)

I dunno, sorry. I installed W2K to see if I liked it, but I switched to XP before I messed with the camera in it.

Ok so it works in XP just fine? XP just recognizes the camera and automatically installs it?

Yeah. I plug it in (or put it on the dock and push the button) and it pops up in My Computer. You can make it launch Photoshop, or do whatever, but I want it to stay quiet until I'm ready for it. ;)

Anyone with any battery experience though? I can't take any pics now. I need to order one ASAP.
